Cremated remains will arrive in a plastic bag from the funeral home or crematorium. To fill an urn with ashes, you can place the plastic bag full of ashes inside the urn, or you can use a funnel to pour ashes from the bag into the urn. If you want to move the ashes into a new bag, use a funnel to pour ashes from the first plastic bag into the new bag.
