After an urn leaves the 3D printer, we meticulously sand down rough edges and apply a hardening coat to reinforce the raw material. The urn receives another protective overcoat after painting to safeguard the detail work, which provides a smooth finish on the urn that you can safely wipe down with a cloth as needed. You can rest assured that our 3D-printed urns are as strong as our wood urns. Owing to the durability of our 3D-printed urns, one of our customers takes their custom 3D-printed Land Rover cremation urn outdoors every few months without issue.
